Volunteer

So many ways to Volunteer!​

  • Help to decorate a booth* that highlights your country's beauty, history, arts, costume and food

  • Provide  small bite-sized food samples

  • Provide a craft or game for guests

  • Be a part of our live entertainment with a native dance, music or talent for your country

  • Participate in our Parade of Flags and represent your country

*Countries with a small number of families can team up with other countries to share a table or booth

We're compiling our schools favorite dishes from your family suppers, that tell a story, or that you brought from a faraway place! Our hope is that this book will be a collection of recipes from all over the world!

Send your submissions to our email at internationalday@wbais.net by April 8 and please include the following:

  • Name of recipe/dish

  • List of all of the ingredients with quantity

  • Time to Prepare

  • Preparation and cooking procedures

  • Equipment required for the dish

  • Serving procedures if applicable

  • Your Name (Childs Name, Family Name)

  • Country representing

  • Photos and personal story if you'd like to share!

 

Submissions can be appetizers, entrees, soups, salads, side dishes, desserts, drinks...you name it!
